Terms of Service

By accessing startups.bd you agree to these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure. Accounts are personal; do not share credentials or API keys.

Publicly available records on startups.bd are published under CC BY 4.0: reuse with attribution to startups.bd and a link to the source page. Subscriber-only research, briefs, and exports are licensed to your organisation for internal use and may not be redistributed.

Records are compiled from public sources and community submissions. We make no warranty of completeness or accuracy. Nothing on the platform is investment, legal, or tax advice; verify independently before making capital-allocation decisions.

• No automated scraping outside the documented JSON endpoints and published rate limits.
• No attempt to bypass paywalls, authentication, or access controls.
• No submission of records you know to be false.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.

We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or place the platform at risk. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We will update the effective date above when these terms change and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
